Despite coming out in a rash at the thought of ever getting married myself, I have a thing for weddings. I love organizing parties and all the little details, I love the decorations, I love the food and then of course there is the dress. Now most real person wedding dresses make me feel passionately angry inside due to their intense hideousness and cheapness (crystal organza, WHY?). Now, I know everyone has their own taste but some gowns have no excuse for existing. I have recently come across a designer by the name of  Zuhair Murad who is creating some of the most breathtaking Wedding gowns I have ever seen. This is how a wedding dress should be done, even if it means selling the roof from over your premarital heads to buy it:

Ji Hye Park for Vogue Korea June 2012 by Bosung Kim

Mark Mawson's paintings caught my eye, I love painting and am one of the only students I know who prefers to hand design. Photoshop etc are amazing things, but there's something special about a piece that has come from the artist's hands and not from a mac, and contains his blood sweat and tears. I adore the vibrancy of the colours in these and the way every time I look at them I can see something different.

Dave LaChapelle is a huge inspiration to me, his photography is interesting and quirky, he photographs fashion and celebrities and his photos always stand out. He reminds me a little bit of Tim Walker, who is my favourite photographer.

Naja Conrad Hansen illustration
Her illustrations are very inspiring, as I love hand drawn illustrations, I love her use of collage and her amazing use of colour.
